Catherine Dolan, MD has been practicing Family medicine for 30 years and has added holistic/functional medicine practices for the last 20 years. She has a special interest in mental health challenges, the Walsh Protocol, gut health, Lyme Disease, and Healing Touch energy therapy.

Catherine joined Newbridge in 2014, after working at Riverside Family Physicians for 21 years and at Fairview Clinic Riverside for 4 years. She works to understand the “why” behind the symptoms and addresses the underlying problems. She finds it interesting, challenging, and gratifying to support healing this way. Catherine recognizes that good health depends on one’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Through her practice, she discusses and supports each area to bring patients full health and healing. Her special areas of interest include deeply listening to each person’s story, mental health challenges – especially depression and anxiety – and gut health.

Dr. Dolan’s educational background includes a BS in Chemistry from Mundelein College in Chicago, MD from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Family Practice residency at the University of Minnesota-Fairview-St Mary’s. She is board certified in Family Medicine. Throughout her career, Dr. Dolan has found that learning comes from deeply listening to her patients, working with many excellent colleagues, and regularly attending conferences on Holistic/Integrative Medicine. She is a member of the Minnesota Holistic Medical Group, the ILADS (International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society), and the Institute for Functional Medicine.

In addition to work, she enjoys time with her husband, children and grandchildren, extended family, and friends. She practices mindfulness and deepening her spiritual life, yoga, and gardening.
